Cleveland Commercial and Fine Art Photographer - Black and White

The fine art black and white gallery is a collection of images from several series and/or projects that have been captured over the years. Much of the work has not only been an exploration of visually compelling (and at times, uncomfortable) subject matter, but also into how light, contrast, detail and texture can play a critical role in stimulating visual interest.

The work consist mostly of images that were captured on film using a variety of formats and cameras to include; large format, medium format, 35mm and with several hand crafted pinhole cameras. While the creativity and technical skill lies within the artist, understanding the limitations and/or the unique properties of how each camera format captures an image assisted in conveying the intended message.
